The Stamford Arms

Lime Street

The Stamford Arms stands on Lime Street, in an area of small terraces houses developed in the 1890s.  Presumably it was built at the same time as the houses.  The main entrance on Lime Street sports the tiled porch shown below.  The walls of the side entrance are boarded, probably with the original boards.  But both entrances have "Minton" tiles floors.
