31 Queen Street

A very impressive row of three shops with offices over.
It is likely that the brick and brownish-red terracotta originally
showed a greater contrast and would do so again if scrubbed.

This detail shows this building's adherence to classical
principles - but only so far. How would one describe this -
Edwardian baroque in brick and terracotta? Any further information
about this building would be welcome.
