Introduction by Bev Parker.

Local historian, Bill Howe grew up in Nursery Street, on the northern side of the City centre. He has a unique and in-depth knowledge of life and people in Wolverhampton from the war years onwards. Throughout his career Bill met many interesting Wulfrunians, both during his time on the market patch, in the pub trade, and as a printer today. He remembers many of the long-gone buildings and streets that were important and well-known landmarks around the City, and the shops and pubs that were frequented by so many. What follows is the story of Bill's Aunt Nancy:
