Guy Lorries restored

Here are some pictures of Guy lorries which have been restored and which have been spotted from time to time by the Curator or others.  All further information on each of these vehicles would be very welcome, as would  pictures and details, from owners or others, of other vehicles.
A 1924 John Morris fire fighting body on a Guy chassis with a 4 cylinder 22.8 hp engine.

Photographed at a rally on Tettenhall green.

Actually these are not restorations but new Guy Big Js for sale at the Peterborough Show, July 1972.  Thanks to Robin Sharman for the photos.

On the right is a restored Guy Otter, seen at Leicster, May, 1990, by Robin Sharman.
A Guy Warrior seen at Leicester, May 1919, by Robin Sharman.

A Guy Otter, seen at Lydbury North, August 1991.  Another photo by Robin Sharman.
Originally, in 1937, this Guy chassis was bodied as a dust cart but did not sell.  It was rebodied as an ambulance and registered (in Wolverhampton) in 1939.  At Manor Farm. Owned by Brian Niblett.

The interior of the ambulance, with the door for the attendant to reach the driver's cabin.  By modern standards a little under equipped and spartan.  But better than being in a dust cart.
John Lewis delivery van. Wolf, 1939.  At Manor Farm. Owned by Andrew Lucas.
A 1950 Otter rests in the garage at Manor Farm. Owned by William Lucas.
1930 Guy, owned by Thomas Henderson. At the Black Country Rally 2002.

Otter, 1951, owned by Brian Carlos.  At the Black Country Rally 2002.
Big J4T, owned by Richard Stanier.  This was one of the last Guys to be built and was not registered until 1985.  At the Black Country Rally 2002.

1950 Otter, owned by Chris Huffer, who found it, in a dilapidated state, 25 years ago.  The first owner was a fruit and veg merchant in Port Talbot.  At the Black Country Rally 2002.
1948 Wolf, owned by James Leech.  It took three years to complete this restoration.  The vehicle spent all its working life moving barrels between factories in the Bolton area.  At the Black Country Rally 2002.

Invincible 4 wheel, rigid draw bar, 1956.  Owned by George Wood.  It has a Willenhall cab and a Gardner 6LW 112 bhp engine.  It was bought by Ripponden and District transport as a draw bar vehicle and used as such for about 10 years.  It then did service for another 30 years as a snow plough.  Completely rebuilt by George Wood.
A fine example of a restored Otter.
